Seek and You Will Find – A Universal Law of God

This posting is about one of the Universal Laws of God; a Holy promise, a Holy Commitment from the Creator to us which says that if you seek, you WILL find. Words matter. In the course of my path, I was struck with the commitment the Father made through Jesus said when he said, “Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.”

How An Agnostic/Atheist Came to Accept the Existence of a Creator God

I’m sharing my experience to hopefully help not only non-believers like I was, but also those people who may be luke-warm in their attitudes to the existence of the spiritual side of life and an omnipotent deity behind it all. It is a fact that church membership is steadily declining. Many people no longer see value in mainstream religion. My hope is that perhaps I can help others to avoid making the mistake of believing that if religions don’t have answers, then there are no answers to be found.

Regardless of Circumstances, I Am Never Powerless

In fact at least three: (lower self, higher self and “decider”) and how that lower, ego-self always attempts to prevent me from making any positive changes In my life. All my life, from a young child onward, I had a curiosity about everything, but especially spiritual things. I always had a sense that there was more to know – that there was more to life and that if I could find it, would lead to a better life. Consequently, I asked many questions of the nuns and priests at my parochial grade school. But the answer to my questions, only led to other questions and I never felt satisfied. And of course, more than once the final answer in the series of questions and answers, was, “My child it is all a matter of faith.” Later I found what I believe are the answers I was seeking. However, there were significant delays due to errors in my thinking.

Who Do You Say You Are? The Most Important Question You Could Ever Ask Yourself

I remember myself, a young boy in a Catholic church at Mass reading the scriptures as I followed along with the priest. I remember reading the parables and and teachings of Jesus, like, “..first remove the beam from your own eye”, thinking this doesn’t apply to me – it must be for non-Catholics.  So there was nothing for me to consider in my own life, nothing for me to change, nothing for me to do. To me in that mindset, the teachings of Christ had no meaning and no value. In my mind, Jesus’ teachings just did not apply to me.

About a year went by and he never followed through, so I sent him the following unsolicited letter. My Experiences With Kinesiology Early on My Path

I heard about a spiritual teacher his name was Dr. David R. Hawkins. Dr Hawkins is a renowned psychiatrist, and author as well as spiritual teacher. Dr. Hawkins teaches that you can determine the answer to any question in the universe through kinesiology, (muscle testing). The theory that muscles are stronger in a person in a neutral state of mind in the presence of truth than in the presence of falsehood. If not familiar with kinesiology, you might want to Google it where you can actually see demonstrations performed at Dr Hawkins direction.

What Has the Path Done for Me?

It is June, 2018 and I am approaching 12 years of serious study and application of the spiritual tools given by the ascended masters? On a daily basis, I have read or listened to teachings and on a daily basis I have given 30-90 minutes of decrees and invocations. The reading and listening was easy even from the start because I have always sought out and read self-improvement or spiritual books. Giving the invocations and decrees out loud was difficult at first. Even though they were very strongly prescribed as an absolutely essential element of the path, a part of me just didn’t want to do it. I felt a little awkward and embarrassed and wondered what my wife would think, etc, etc.  But soon, I realized that the part of me that didn’t want to do this was the ego, because the ego didn’t want to lose control over the real me, the conscious-self.  So, in the early days I had to constantly remind myself of the source of this resistance and push ahead. Then after many months of doing this, I took a break and found that I missed it, that I actually felt better, lighter, clearer when I did do them and so I continued the practice.
